I spearheaded a retreat for my local plein air painting group this weekend. We went to Linwood Park in Vermilion, Ohio and spend several days together. We had about 20 people - painters and a few spouses - sharing the Lodge. It's a great old building with 13 bedrooms and shared hall baths. Lots of comfortable seating and eating areas, a full kitchen and several porches. The park is a historic family park with many cottages set right on a private beach of Lake Erie.
I was a bit distracted with being in a new place, trying to make things comfortable for the group, and also trying to find my own painting spots, so I only painted about 3 paintings. I'm pretty tired and will keep this post short and leave you with some photos.
