Friday - Canyon Junction

OH - by the way, if you haven't figured it out yet - if you click on the photos, they come up much larger!

We started our day with our critique:

Sorry for the out of focus - Lyn's 2 beautiful pastels on the right, and my little oil on the left.

Then we headed to Canyon Junction for the morning, went to the Museum patio for lunch and some painting. Then we headed back to the house about 3pm, as it was getting pretty hot, and we seem to lose our creative energy mid-afternoon. The light on the rocks gets very flat which is not a good thing for painters, so that time of the afternoon is good for relaxing.

I've seen lots of wildlife - mainly wild turkeys! - mule deer, lizards and toads. And condors! The area at the far end of the park is a favorite place for the condors.
