I flew into Vegas yesterday. Great flight on Southwest - direct and came in early. I had two huge checked bags - one with my art supplies, and the other with the normal stuff. Traveling with your art supplies sure is tough but I was able to get all of those in one bag. I brought more clothes that I probably needed, but the weather was going to be fairly chilly in the park this week, so had to bring a variety of things to layer. Turns out, all week they are expecting high 70-80's and I could have left some of the fleece home!
I stayed in a hotel across from the Hard Rock Casino and this morning, I walked over there to play a few slots and came out ahead $5.20 so I'd say that was a success!
Heading out to Zion National Park soon where I will be spending the week with Michael Chesley Johnson and Trina, along with some artists I haven't met yet. We are staying in a 6 bedroom vacation home right at the mouth of the park in Springdale, Utah. I've been planning this trip for nearly a year. So glad I am finally here!
